As the son of a scientist born in Chicago and a Viennese actress, I was raised in Madison, Wisconsin. My parents believed education was of primary importance for a successful and happy life. I attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and Pace University Law School in New York. I began my career as an entertainment attorney in New York. I later relocated to LA and pivoted to a career in television, writing and show-running for 25 years. Among others I wrote and produced Saved By The Bell, Hang Time, 9TO5.
