Meredith McKinley has been a Los Angeles resident for over 10 years and is proud to call Downtown LA her home. She lives, works and plays in DLTA and prides herself on a vast knowledge of the neighborhood and community. Meredith received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Occidental College in Eagle Rock, CA and after working as a nonprofit fundraiser for UCLA and the Los Angeles Opera, she made the natural transition into real estate and has never looked back.
Meredith joined Major Properties in November of 2015 as a member of Laura Silver’s Residential Team. While there she honed her skills working with buyers, sellers, renters and investors. In May of 2017, Meredith joined Laura in moving to Realty Source, a brokerage that has allowed them to grow as well-known DTLA specialists and trusted names in the downtown market.
Downtown Los Angeles is Meredith’s focus and though she represents buyers and sellers throughout Los Angeles, DTLA is where she prefers to put her energy. She is a member of the Downtown Real Estate Association (DREA) and has quickly become an established presence in the downtown marketplace. Over the summer she was involved in the Los Angeles Real Estate Update, an event focused on dynamic changes to the landscape and featuring a panel of major market players including Laura Silver. The event brought together roughly 200 industry leaders, interested buyers, out of town agents, and members of the LA City Club where the event was held. Bolstering the downtown market and ensuring her clients are buying, selling, renting and investing in the most thriving community is Meredith’s mission.
Meredith is an active volunteer for her alma mater, serving on an advisory committee as well as chairing her class reunion and fundraising committees. In her free time, she enjoys the rich cultural offerings of The Music Center, the expanding DTLA modern art scene, discovering the endless new culinary options, and taking in sporting events at Staples Center. She is also a member of the historic Los Angeles Athletic Club.
